Dowell has graced national and international stages with his drum playing since 1983.  Having professionally played a variety of musical styles including Zydeco, Jazz, Funk, Blues, Rock and R&B, Dowell has an innate understanding of grooving.  Dowell has shared the stage with such greats as, Buckwheat Zydeco, Stevie Wonder, Wynton Marsalis, the Neville Brothers and many others.
